Name of the project: Learning Emobility Plus

learningemobilityplus_logoDescription:  The “Learning e-Mobility Plus” project allows BGZ Berliner Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (project coordinator) and the other project partners to generate innovation potential for electro-mobility. The project will develop innovative methods and strategies for shared learning together with vocational schools, institutions of higher education and companies.

Vocational training institutions, institutions of higher education and business associations from three EU countries are working together in the project, which is funded as part of the EU “Erasmus +” program. Key actors are represented in the “knowledge partnership” between vocational training institutions, institutions of higher education and businesses in order to develop a practical learning environment for vocational schools and a useful EU-wide model of cooperation as well as to sustainably ensure future recruits learn electro-mobility skills.

Focus Areas:

  • Develop a guideline for the implementation of innovative learning environments in training using electro-mobility as an example.
  • Develop three prototype teaching models and multimedia documentation (DE: power provisions in hybrid drives; IT: hybrid circuits & technical performance differences; PL: conversion from conventional to electric drives).
  • Develop innovative models of cooperation between vocational training, higher education and on-the-job training.
  • Allow apprentices and students (vocational and practical orientation) to learn together.
  • Internationalize the participating education institutions in order to better prepare the trainees for the demands of an increasingly global labor market.

The project started in September 2014 and will finish in august 2016.
