Introduction:
The Emobility Works project aims at fully developing e-mobility potential in European municipalities and businesses by developing e-mobility action plans for the municipalities and consulting local businesses regarding the integration of e-mobility in their corporate strategies
The project will run until August 2016.
Project consortium:
The project is involving 12 partners from 10 different countries and is coordinated by the Grazer Energy Agency (Austria).

Project targets:
- Support at least 27 municipalities and more than 100 companies located in these municipalities regarding the integration of e-mobility
- Elaborating municipal e-mobility action plans and implementing them
- Enforce an e-mobility service process which helps the municipalities and businesses to come to clear decisions within the procurement of vehicles which need replacement
- + 260 e-vehicles on the road by the end of the project
- Long lasting effects to the project on participating municipalities and businesses coupled to national and international dissemination of the project will lead to approx. 6.700 new e-vehicles in Europe until 2020.
Funding:
The Emobility Works project has received funding from the European Union through the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme.
Emerging results:
- 118 charging stations as well as 398 e-vehicles have been acquired in the course of the project (updated June 2016)
- Tailor made action plans have been developed for 29 municipalities
- Clear political support for e-mobility has been gained
- More than 50% of the action plans have already been implemented
- The action plans will be controlled, updated and followed up after the end of the project.
